conoce al protagonista de Neo y de hecho, en base a esa amistad,
deciden hacer esta pelicula.
Con
los recursos de estos tiempos se nos introduce en una pelicula hecha a
la vieja usanza de los 80, con un argumento que ha sido repetido en
cientos de peliculas que tratan de recuperar el arte de las peleas
clandestinas, pero esta vez con la visión de Reeves se le da un giro no
argumental pero si de calidad marcial en cada una de sus peleas.
Woo-ping Yuen otro
nacido de la factoria Matrix y con un pasado magico en el cine de artes
marciales hongkones es el encargado de guionizar y teatralizar cada uno
de los combates en donde tratan de ser super fieles con el estilo del
Tai Chi, un metodo de batalla milenario que se ve ensombrecido por el
dinero y el poder de las peleas ilegales contra el que tiene que luchar
nuestro protagonista.
